Delivering expert professional health and safety advice (inc. ABOUT BRIAN TAYLOR
I am an extremely competent and committed health, safety and environmental expert with extensive experience in supporting the delivery of safe working practices and establishing safe systems of work; most recently for Mott MacDonald / HS2 (London Tunnels). Engendering DNA into the culture of organisations and championing positive safety culture is my speciality, particularly amongst front line staff of all grades. This is something I find incredibly rewarding and a specific area where I can demonstrate significant progress.I currently deliver support and guidance relating to HSE / CDM 2015 on large scale infrastructure projects, as well as coaching HSEA specialists who are aligned to project teams. My goal is always to find safe and secure ways and means of achieving project and operational objectives through consistent Risk Reduction practices.Naturally I am effective across tasks including carrying out safety inspections, writing and briefing health and safety material and reports, conducting accident and incident investigations, implementing preventative accident and incident measures, and critically: identifying unsafe work practices and potential hazards and working closely with all parties to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
