I am a health care leader with over 28 years of experience working in some of the nation\'s premier academic medical centers/medical schools: The University of Pennsylvania, The University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Duke University, Yale University and The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.My expertise and calling lies within the creation and development of high performance teams to support the tri and quadrapartite missions of clinical, research, educational excellence and community within the medical school, hospital and multispecialty physician group. Over the course of a 25-year career, I have experience in the specialties of Emergency Medicine, Vascular, Thoracic and Dental Surgery, Hematology and Oncology, Cardiology and Behavioral Medicine. As a senior administrative leader, I have managed academic departments ranging in size from 10 - faculty with annual operating budgets from $10 -$130 million. I have a record of success in managing physician practice finance (compensation and incentive plans, P&L and WRVU performance), funds flow, clinical operations (in and out-patient), new clinical program development and contract negotiations, research program development (pre and post award), human capital management, grateful patient/philanthropy and advisory board development, evaluation and management coding and billing and compliance, facility and space planning and national meeting organization (National Association of Academic Psychiatry Administrators and Society for Academic Emergency Medicine).
