In the role of Refinery Supervisor II I am responsible for the safety, environmental, quality and production goals of the Refinery division at the site. This includes 5 distinct departments and the direct management and development of 20 union operators. I work daily to push and develop my team to acheive increased production numbers for my departments in response to increased market demand. I am also responsible for increasing the first pass quality (FPQ) for my department. So far production has increased by 10% and our FPQ performance have increased by 20%. In addition I am the primary point of contact for all capital projects and the implementation of continous improvement princiapalswithin the department.
