Brian owner and mead maker at Moonstruck Meadery, has created the world’s best International mead, honey wine, called Capsumel. Capsumel has been awarded seven Double Gold Medals, Ranking #1 in the Top 5 World Spirits of 2016 and Spirit of the Year 2015 & 2016, World Association of Writers and Journalists of Wines and Spirits, Brian and his sommelier wife, Celina Pennisi-Schlueter, visit Argentina, third largest honey producing country in the world, to promote Mead making seminars to Oenologist & wine enthusiast in the fast wine area of Mendoza Brian frequently gives tours and training to new mead makers at his production facility located in Bellevue, Nebraska. Mead is highly encouraged in the making of a great mead, fellow students and friends love the drink of medieval come to life. Brian promotes local honey and supports the Nebraska, Kansas, and South Dakota Bee keepers associations. Moonstruck Meadery is very environmental friendly and promotes our bees.
