Led and developed new real estate business line for MPHA. Including: the creation of tools and processes to generate multi-year development pipeline plans that manifest agency’s goals and vision; and the development and management of multi-year development and departmental budgets. Manage team responsible for leading development projects. Define project goals, funding plans and budgets, project timelines and workplans. Foster and grow internal and external relationships to MPHA to fulfill agency’s goals and vision.Led process that nearly trippled the amount of federal subsidy to 700+ deeply affordable family housing units. Oversaw process to deploy and leverage new federal subsidy into capital improvements to the housing stock.Lead team of staff that is creating MPHA’s largest investment in new deeply affordable family housing units. The MPHA Family Expansion Project is an 84-unit scattered site development that consists of four-and six-plex small apartment buildings on 16 infill residential lots. 17 of the units will house high-priority homeless households with services funded from Hennepin County. Project is utilizing modular building technology and is funded by bonds, 4% tax credits, project-based vouchers, soft sources from the City of Minneapolis, Metropolitan Council, and Hennepin County. Project will have gone from conception to closing in two years.
