SGMC Health is the most comprehensive health system serving South Georgia and North Florida. SGMC Health operates four hospitals across Lowndes, Berrien, and Lanier counties. The system also operates an ambulance service, dozens of medical offices, a cancer center, hospice facility, retirement center, skilled nursing facility, imaging centers and urgent care. I spearhead recruiting efforts for physicians including the development of job descriptions with business unit leaders and HR, job advertising, candidate sourcing, screening, presentation, site visit scheduling, salary negotiation, and onboarding for 4 campuses with 75 physicians and total employees. I also manage our 3rd party locum tenens staffing vendors. Our results have led to a significant increase in our physician network. We’ve streamlined our processes to establish practice description guides for specialties, implemented Marketware software, and also revamped our health system\'s physician careers page.
