Technical expert on professional Audio-visual, Control, System Design and related applications. The Applications Engineer position is a technical engineering position within the Sales Department. The main responsibilities are:• Manage all aspects of the technical support for French European speaking countries; • Answering support calls, trouble shooting technical problems with professional AV systems over the phone;• Organize and animate technical trainings on products and technologies for sales team members and new employees as well as dealers and end users;• Assist customers in both system design and installation parts;• In house product testing for technical issues experienced infield;• Representing the company at tradeshows and dealer events, including participation in organizing, setting up and tearing down of such events;• Provide new product ideas and changes to future products;• Developing a working knowledge of competitive products and related technologies;
