ABOUT BRIAN RUPP
Since starting with AEP in 2001 as an engineer intern, I have had a great opportunity to become involved in many facets of the Company, from construction and plant operations at two of our coal-fired power plants, to regulatory filings and hearings dealing with the recovery of capital and operations and maintenance expenses for our generating fleet. The varying roles that I have held have allowed me to develop a broad background spanning many functional areas of the Company. I find working for such a large and complex Company to be a rewarding challenge, and I have been fortunate enough to move through many interesting jobs during my tenure at AEP. In August 2015 I completed the MBA program through the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Specialties: Environmental controls and compliance planning for power plants. Regulatory cost recovery of fuel expenses, as well as generation and environmental-related capital and operations and maintenance expenses.
