Ensure operations leaders within the government business (Medicaid & Medicare for PA, DE, WV) understand their team’s productivity and process improvement opportunities.Work with leaders to develop business cases, ROI projections, and manage projects to implement identified improvement opportunities.Quantify staffing needs using time studies and later data analysisWorked with a single developer to create Power BI reporting for the Appeals and Grievance, Utilization Management, and Care Management Departments. This reporting gave them real time volumes, durations, productivity, and regulatory KPI data directly from our systems based on months’ worth of data points. This was a first for the Government business.Work with leaders to implement 4DX methodologies to act on lead metrics to achieve desired business outcomes.Led one of the first AI implementation projects within the health plan based on previous time studies. The goal was to reduce authorization durations by using an LLM to summarize incoming clinical documentation. Within weeks of go-live, we saw average durations fall across almost all authorization types.Performed multiple iterations of time studies on all operations processes within the health plan. These data points were then used to create staffing models for operations leaders. Process improvement opportunities were identified and presented during each analysis.
