At the end of 2021, Mack-Cali Realty Corp was re-branded as Veris Residential with a focus of growing the company’s operating multi-family portfolio in the Northeast US. To further that goal, a strategic decision was made to sell the company\'s multi-family development land bank and redeploy the equity into operating multi-family product. My focus shifted to managing the disposition process for 16 sites with varying levels of development approvals and challenges. As the land transactions progress through contract negotiations, due diligence and toward closing, the focus will shift to identifying and acquiring 1031 exchange replacement opportunities with the location, qualities and income potential capable of achieving the company\'s goals.
