I have been working in the rail industry since 1988.Studied Civil Engineering part time at University of Glamorgan between 1990 and 1994.Currently Project Director for a national Plain Line track renewals portfolio working for Network Rail.Have undertaken many Leadership, Engineering, Technical, Project and Programme management roles mostly in Track Renewals.Have been leading and managing teams since around 1998.I have worked for the Principal Contractor and the Client whilst working in Track Renewals and also as part of integrated management teams between Client and Principal Contractor.Whilst A Programme Manager, I have managed Plain Line, S&C and HO Track Renewals across Wales, Wessex, Western and LNW Routes and at times, all three portfolios across all four routes. I was the CDM coordinators representative when in my Programme Management role.In 2016, I attended a professional interview and gained Registered Project Professional Status with the Association of Project Management and in Feb 2019 gained Chartered Project Professional Status(ChPP)
