About Brian Sharp

I am a retired Marine Corps Colonel and senior national security executive with 33 years of experience leading operations, budgetary planning, and interagency coordination at the highest levels of government. I’ve served in critical roles across the Department of Defense and Congress - managing billion-dollar portfolios, shaping combat operations, and advising the most senior civilian and uniformed leaders on national security priorities.Highlights include directing the Marine Corps War College, serving as Chief of Staff for Marine Corps Legislative Affairs, and leading future operational planning at U.S. Central Command. I’ve also integrated emerging technologies into strategic wargames and restructured senior-level military education to meet future force demands.I currently advise senior clients in defense, innovation, and policy. I hold a TS/SCI clearance and have served as a Brookings Federal Executive Fellow and an MIT Seminar XXI Fellow. I welcome connections related to national security policy, board service, or advisory work.
