About Brian Pattison

I am a Front-End Developer and Data Scientist based in Dallas, Texas, with experience in building user-friendly and dynamic applications. I graduated in May 2022 from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a specialization in Machine Learning. Currently, I work as a Data Scientist, where I analyze and structure data to provide insights for legal teams, while also developing visualizations and reports that drive informed decision-making.As a Front-End Developer, I am skilled in Java, C++, Python, React, and SQL, with significant experience in Swift and React Native. I co-developed Anim: Health and Food, an iOS app that allows users to track health information and share recipes, which has gained over impressions and nearly 100 downloads on the App Store. In my role at Cognizant, I contributed to building an Instagram-like app for real-time user interactions and led the creation of a customizable dashboard using React and Spring Boot to track project data in real-time.My work across both roles has deepened my understanding of Agile workflows, team collaboration, and the intersection of data and user experience. I’m passionate about solving technical challenges, creating intuitive designs, and using data to inform and optimize development.
