Supervises/Manages MV-22 squadron aircraft distribution, on behalf of the Navy Type Commander (TYCOM), within 3MAW/MAG/MALS16, in support of West Coast VMM operations world wide. Supervises West Coast contract maintenance support teams across multiple contracts to align efforts in conjunction & coordination with 3MAW/MAG/MALS16 personnel, for the induction of aircraft into DEPOT modification, and tracks the incorporation of those modifications & completion of technical directives during the mod, to ensure proper configuration of aircraft prior to deployment, in support of operational requirements as set forth by Headquarters Marine Corps. Provides oversight and reporting of aircraft during induction into field level Periodic Maintenance Interval required inspections/repair processes. Current Configuration Readiness and Modernization efforts. Provides the TYCOM, Commander NavAir Atlantic/Pacific Fleet (CNAF/CNAP), with research and analyses on the daily flight status of the respective fleet. Performs daily onsite analysis of fleet operational issues and risks, and provides the TYCOM recommendations, by producing plans of action, for the mitigation and resolution of those issues. Performs weekly reporting to the personnel at CNAF/CNAP, PMA-275, Govt. Leads, and Joint Program Office, as needed. Coordinates activities, by direction of the TYCOM, within the fleet, on an as needed basis. Assists 3MAW/MAG/MALS16 Commanding Officers, Aircraft Maintenance Officers, Assistant Aircraft Maintenance Officers, Maintenance Material Control Officers, and Maintenance Material Control Chiefs, in many aspects of aircraft maintenance issues. Distributes and tracks technical directive validations/verifications. Gathers input and information on high visibility components. Collects, assembles, tracks, and directs issuance of Airdrop/Medevac & Defensive Weapon Systems mission kitting. Tracks the incorporation of urgent and routine technical directives and aircraft inventory records gear.
