Specific activities include:> Facility planning and evaluation of treatment facility performance including projections of wastewater flows and loadings from slaughter facilities, secondary meat processing facilities, and consumer food production facilities. Involved with regulatory evaluation, conceptual design utilizing study and reports, detailed design which produce drawings and technical specifications, developing construction cost estimates, bidding assistance, and construction phase services.> Preliminary treatment: fine screening, gravity clarification, physical and chemical dissolved air flotation, flow equalization, and pumping systems.> Biological treatment: anaerobic lagoons, biogas collection and utilization, activated sludge treatment for organics, ammonia and nitrate removal, final clarification.> Tertiary treatment: phosphorus removal, tertiary solids filtration, disinfection.> Sludge processing: sludge storage and pumping systems, dewatering utilizing belt filter press and centrifuge.
