Electrical PE with over a decade of industry design experience, including electrical facilities, microgrid systems, comms, signals, and power distribution. Hands-on experience includes field testing, commissioning, and surveying of communications, train control, and electrical facilities; simulation of high voltage distribution systems, and experience in construction estimating and design coordination for rail transit, commercial lab, hospital, and data center facilities. I am experienced in analysis of mixed signal train control signaling systems (AFTAC, EPIC PTC applications), and knowledgeable in Title 24, NEC, IEC, and AREMA codes and standards. Performed lab testing with multi-meters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and spectrum analyzers. PCB design using cadence OrCAD capture. Programming experience with Java, Javascript, C/C++, HTML, FPGA(Verilog), LC3, HCAA (Assembly) and audio spectrum frequency response analysis using PSPice, MATLAB, and Audacity. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2012 with my B.S. in EE with an emphasis in Signals and Systems. My career interests include electrical system design, fiber optic communications, and alternative energy solutions.
