I\'ve spent over two decades working at the intersection of national security, immigration policy, and global operations. My career has taken me across multiple continents—from Europe and Latin America to the Middle East and Africa—working in both field operations and senior policy roles in Washington.I specialize in large-scale operational management, crisis response, and translating complex policy mandates into practical implementation across diverse international environments. My experience spans directing major bureaus, leading teams through high-stakes situations, and coordinating with senior stakeholders across the U.S. government and international partners.Throughout my career, I\'ve managed everything from massive visa operations processing millions of applications to sensitive diplomatic negotiations in challenging security environments. I\'ve also spent significant time focused on training and talent development, helping prepare thousands of professionals for careers in international affairs.What I\'ve learned is that whether you\'re implementing new initiatives across hundreds of locations worldwide or managing teams under extreme pressure, success comes down to clear communication, adaptability, and keeping focused on the mission. I particularly enjoy building high-functioning teams and mentoring the next generation of leaders in this field.I\'m a lawyer by training and studied international affairs in undergrad. I speak Spanish proficiently and have extensive experience working across different cultures and operating environments. I\'m based in the Washington, D.C. area.
