The Chief Facilities Officer supports the mission, vision, and overall advancement of the Royal Ontario Museum by providing a well-maintained, sustainable set of buildings. A key member of the Museum Senior Leadership team, the CFO is responsible for planning, program management and implementation of best practices for all aspects of building engineering, maintenance, security and housekeeping. The second primary role is the strategic implementation of an overall capital development plan for the Museum, which includes preventative maintenance planning, repair and rehabilitation capital budgeting, as well as current and future building needs, requirements, acquisition and development. The CFO is ultimately responsible for preserving the infrastructure and enhancing sustainability of the Royal Ontario Museum for current and future generations.
