ABOUT BRIAN M. STAHULAK

As Chief Clinical & Nursing Officer at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, I have the privilege of leading an extraordinary team of Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, and allied health professionals whose expertise, compassion, and commitment drive the highest standards of pediatric care. Having worked at Lurie Children’s for nearly 30 years, beginning my career as a nurse and serving in roles across ambulatory and transplant services, I have a deep appreciation for the dedication and skills that define our nursing community. My priority is to ensure that every team member has the resources, support, and professional growth opportunities needed to continue advancing practices and delivering exceptional care. Our mission extends beyond the hospital walls. As we continue to provide unmatched pediatric services, our focus remains on improving the health and well-being of all children—whether they receive care in our inpatient units, outpatient centers, or community programs. By fostering collaboration, innovation, and a culture of excellence, we are shaping the future of pediatric nursing and ensuring every child and family we serve experiences the very best of what Lurie Children’s has to offer.
