Program Manager on Farm Credit’s Process Improvement and Execution team. I lead programs and projects that comprise the organization’s project portfolio of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.In addition to strategic program management, l also lead organizational and departmental problem-solving projects, or Continuous Improvement (C.l.) Events, that aim to solve a prevalent business problem and gain efficiencies via the implementation of long-lasting solutions driven by the quality team. Major Responsibilities- Led project team in the establishment of enterprise-wide portfolio backlog grooming process resulting in increased flow of work from business to our Business Technology (I.T.) department- Assist with the strategy and deployment of Continuous Improvement (CI) principles and practices throughout the association- Help Continuous Improvement Voice of the Business teams in identifying, scoping, and prioritizing opportunities for improvement (OFI’s)- Lead projects and “CI Events” to successful completion and realization of the value forecasted in event or project charter- Manage all aspects of projects, from inception through project close, ensuring that appropriate project management methodology is applied in all phases of the project lifecycle- Oversee an individual portfolio of 4-5 projects in multiple phases and geographic locations- Manage programs with multiple component projects. Includes providing oversight to support and coordinate project-level activities to ensure overall program goals are met- Direct, negotiate, and manage conflict resolution to ensure cross-functional team members, often with disparate priorities, remain focused on program and project objectives- Work closely with our technology department, and other departments, to automate and operationalize new and improved business processes.
