ABOUT BRIAN LEWANDOWSKI
I am a Professional Civil Engineer in the M-NCPPC Park Development Division working on improving, restoring, renovating, and maintaining new and existing park infrastructure in Montgomery County Parks in Maryland. I have over 30+ years experience in the industry, remain trained in the newest engineering technologies, and use sustainable engineering practices that promote environmental stewardship and protection of natural resources. I implement small as well as large multi-million dollar award winning capital improvement projects, coordinate and manage the Montgomery Parks countywide pedestrian bridge renovation program, and design and oversee the construction of multiple stream restoration and storm water management projects that protect and enhance streams and waterways in the Chesapeake Bay watersheds that are impaired by upland development. I have experience in the private sector working on Land Development projects. I have designed and permitted site development plans for institutional, commercial, and residential projects in Maryland and Northern Virginia. I have supervised and mentored engineers and designers that have worked collaboratively on project teams to strive for excellence and achieved award winning high quality designs that remained on schedule and built within budget.
