As the Director of Geospatial for the Power Division at Westwood, I work directly with our professionals in Remote Sensing, Land Surveying, and Field Services to develop and grow our client base, continue to expand our suite of service offerings, participate in strategic hiring, and work with the team on quality, safety, and timing of deliverables to make our geospatial projects a success. I have been managing thermal, transmission, and substation related projects for Westwood since 2008 with a focus on control & topographic surveys, SUE and underground utility locating, aerial photography and LiDAR support, terrestrial scanning, boundary surveys, title plotting, legal descriptions and exhibits, construction staking, and record/inventory surveys for our clients. Projects have varied in size from very small 5 acre substations to large mile transmission lines.
