About Brian Koluch

My name is Brian Koluch, and I am a graduating Junior at Salve Regina University. As a Global Studies and Political Science major, I am highly interested in how our national problems can be resolved sustainably and efficiently. Global Studies as a major is designed to address intersectional global problems, and find the best, and often complicated, solutions to them. As part of my time at university, I have focused my Senior Thesis and Capstone projects on how the U.S. Interstate system has partitioned urban communities of color, and how we can remedy these wrongs. My research has pointed me towards public transportation as an element of the broader solution, leading me to pursue public transit planning as my career.

   Institute a positive and open atmosphere for 30-55 residents to maintain health and safety- Use the Advocate and CARE systems to move resident conduct and wellbeing issues up the chain of command- Act as a first responder to incidents of alcohol poisoning to ensure immediate care of resident students- Mediate resident conflicts by scheduling moderated discussions on the competing interests of each resident- Compromise alongside fellow resident assistants to establish duty schedules and programming jobs- Plan, promote, and execute educational and community-building events with attractive advertisements.
