I am a graduate student at Michigan Technological University, currently undertaking a master\'s degree in civil engineering. I am presently acquiring practical experience as a Transportation Engineering Intern at OSEH Inc, where I participate in roadway design, site inspections, and project documentation. Throughout the years, I have established a robust foundation in drainage systems, building inspection, and transportation design via many internships in both Kenya and the United States. Through my involvement in significant highway projects with the Kenya National Highways Authority and the enhancement of traffic systems with the Ministry of Transport, I have acquired the ability to translate engineering ideas into practical solutions that enhance infrastructure and ensure community safety in transportation. I possess proficiency in products such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and ARCGIS, and I hold certification in IDOT’s Documentation of Contract Quantities. I consistently seek new challenges that facilitate my growth, enable my contribution, and allow me to create a lasting influence. I am seeking internships, co-ops, and full-time positions in civil and transportation engineering, particularly those that include significant projects and collaborative teams.
