About Brian Kelly
Over 25 years of fire experience, I started my career while in high school at the age of 18. I have worked my way to management through almost every position one can have in the fire service field. I have served on several prestigious boards such as North Carolina Fire Marshals Association, and North Carolina Fire and Life Safety Educators among others. I have also been teaching for several years in the areas of fire service training all while maintaining my full-time job. I currently serve as Fire Marshal for the city of Jacksonville NC. The county seat of Onslow County. I have been awarded recognition for the work performed in our community such as the North Carolina Safe Kids, Shining Star, and Safe Digging Partner from the NC 811 which was the first to be awarded to an emergency services organization. All while putting myself through college recently and my other job as a “family man.”Specialties: Arson Investigation, Community Fire and life Safety Programs, Inspections, Public Education, Instruction.
