US
In an effort to improve the the Managed Print Services program, we actively sought feedback from the other 70% of schools in the district that were not part of the MPS program. We identified that schools were concerned with the lack of:Vendor and product choicesReporting capabilities for copy versus print outputTo resolve those two concerns the district released a request for proposal for a new (and improved) MPS program, designed to provide more vendor options and product choices that would meet a wide range of needs. In addition, the district searched for an improved monitoring and reporting platform that supports the level of granularity and control sought by The district selected three vendors, offering five device brands, as authorized program providers. The approved MPS program vendors are (in alphabetical order):ACTIVE OFFICE SOLUTIONS providing SHARP and CANON multifunction devices and printersCDW-G providing XEROX and HP multifunction devices and printersRICOH USA providing RICOH multifunction devices and printers. All three vendors have had a business relationship with the district and individual schools for many years. Most, if not all schools are current or past customers of these vendors and will have purchased products and/or services from one, two, or all three of them.
