About Brian Jordan

As trusted business advisor to his clients, Brian has more than 18 years of experience providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance services for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. He serves closely-held clients from the $5 million to $900 million dollar range in the retail, construction, maritime, manufacturing, and professional services industries. Additionally, he specializes in client representation in tax controversy matters as well as, litigation support projects. Brian is adapt at providing personalized service as an advisor and tax consultant. He gets a great deal of satisfaction from helping clients navigate difficult IRS collection and examination situations. He was once able to negotiate a settlement with the IRS in a trust fund penalty case and successfully reduce the client’s tax liability from down to $100. He has testified in court as a fact witness and an expert witness. He led an effort for one of his client’s in a lawsuit against the State of Texas that was decided in favor of the client which led to in tax savings. And, he has testified in a breach of contract case. Brian earned his BSBA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and an MBA from the University of Houston Clear Lake. He served as a Reservist in the United States Navy for eight years. And, he directs the college recruiting for the tax department. Brian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) where he serves on the Relations With Taxing Authorities Committee and the Student Auxiliary Steering Committee.
