Serving as Site Superintendent in support of all decommissioning activities. With assurance that safety and quality are embedded in a team mindset, the daily activities include coordinating up to 40 technicians in support of scaffold erection, lifting and rigging activities, material handling, removal of radioactive and contaminated materials from the site in cooperation with radiation technicians, demolition of surrounding structures and related plant equipment due for removal including, steam generators, reactor cooling pumps, pressurizer, 4 MSR’s, 2 LP turbines and high pressure turbine, feed water heaters and MSIV’s. Assisted in the removal of the reactor vessel, packaging and loading for shipment for disposal.
