About Brian Hungerford
I am a passionate architect and leader that believes design can transform lives and build community. For over twenty years, I\'ve had a blast learning about my clients and translating their mission into dynamic and meaningful experiences across office headquarter, workplace, mixed-use, multi-family or community project types. A registered Architect in the State of Illinois, my project experience is diverse and has been recognized with multiple design awards. Participating in the design community is important to me - as such, I have enjoyed being a visiting critic at the Illinois Institute of Technology, the University of Illinois at Chicago, The University of Kentucky, and Harrington Institute of Interior Design. Most recently, I have been invited to join the Architectural Advisory Council for Texas A&M University. In addition to pursuing architectural interests through national and international design competitions, I\'ve contributed work to the Chicago Architectural Club – the nation’s oldest architectural organization.Outside of architecture, I have collaborated with a medical device company to design two intravenous infusion pumps currently operating in the field. I have been involved in several non-for-profit organizations, including the Advisory Board for The Active Transportation Alliance and am currently serving on the Auxiliary Board for Snow City Arts and President of the Amgis Foundation. The Amgis Foundation is a charitable foundation operating to endow, assist, and support, charitable organizations throughout the United States, and Mexico.When not exploring the world with my wife and three boys, I am somewhere working on my basketball game :)
