The critical part of this position is to maintain high standards of quality in maintenance & facilities work for this beautiful historic estate & public gardens. The Facilities Coordinator helps ensure that construction projects & Facilities related work is on schedule, within budget, cost effective & appropriate to meet Filoli\'s historic preservation principles. Another key responsibility is coordinating the support of all Filoli events, rentals & staff work environments.Leadership-Coordinate facilities, collections & garden projects with Director of Facilities, Director of Horticulture & Directior of Museum Collections/Curator-Coordinate daily operational support with Guest Experience, Events & Administration to ensure smooth daily operations-Uphold customer service standards & serve in a support capacity & maintain positive interactions with all customers - staff, visitors & vendors-Participate in operations meetings as neededFacilities-Work with the Director of Facilities to prioritize & coordinate property projects-Use Filoli\'s Facilities Maintenance System, Project Management Software & Google Apps Suite & other communication resources to respond & manage work orders requests-Coordinate work orders & communication on-going status of projects to staff-In Collaboration with Events, coordinate support responsibilities of full lifecycles of events-Organize & maintain accurate inventory of facilities supplies & equipment-Purchase necessary supplies & equipment, as well assist with the administrative tasks-Coordinate preventative maintenance
