Brian has experience with industry-specific audit and accounting matters regarding asset retirement obligations (pit reclamation costs), specific supply contracts, mineral interests and related depletion, land stripping costs, royalty rights and obligations, defined benefit pension plans and postretirement health benefit programs.Serves as the audit partner of multiple middle-market consumer product manufacturing clients globally and has experience and assisted clients with accounting matters regarding foreign currency matters, derivative financial instruments, business combinations associated with mergers and acquistions, LIFO inventory pricing methodologies and implementations, cost accounting and financial budgets and projections.Serves as the audit partner of multiple clients in the construction industry including architechtural and engineering firms, construction management companies and contractors vayring from design/build, heavy highway and road, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, and HVAC.
