   The major function of the Global Manager to lead the efforts of Recruiting Military, Veteran, Reserve, Guard and the Military Spouse population while educating the business about the benefits of hiring veterans to drive diversity hiring and recruiting. It will also serve as a planning tool aimed at ensuring the business has the right kind and number of diverse leaders to achieve mission success. Follows specific guidelines, metrics, roles & responsibilities, and identified criteria for implementing the program across Amentum and ensures it is in accordance with Federal guidance, Department of Labor (DOL), Department of Defense (DoD), State entities, and Amentum Policies. • Develop relationships with Amentum Leaders, Hiring Managers, and Recruiters to increase the military and veteran program hiring numbers to meet the Organizational goal exceeding the DoD, EEOC, and Federal guidelines for contract awarding and placement.• Ensure Amentum’s Affirmative Action Plan is designed to identify employment goals, potential barriers to equal employment opportunities, and progress made toward meeting our veteran goals.• Initiate and sign partnerships with Military Installations, Bases, Reserve and National Guard Units that continuously results in quality referrals and increased hiring across the company.• Partner with colleges/ universities focused on Military affiliations to streamline the hiring of new talent and credentialing the current workforce.• Drive and track career programs, hiring events and transition briefings that link veterans to jobs.• Implement and execute the DoD SkillBridge Internship, Army Reserve Public Private Partnership (P3), Army Training with Industry (TWI), Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) and ESGR National Guard programs for the company.• Submit and track all annual Military recognition opportunities with company’s data for brand success.
