About Brian Halter
Real estate asset management professional with a focus on LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) housing. Experience managing portfolios of both institutional debt and institutional equity investments in LIHTC properties. In that role I’m responsible for overseeing all aspects of the investments including construction/lease-up, stabilized partnership oversight, and reposition strategies involving debt restructuring and general partner/management company substitutions. The individual portfolios I’ve managed typically total ~$300MM of either debt or equity investment and represent total construction costs upwards of $1B. In my prior role at Boston Capital, I managed a team of equity asset managers overseeing a portfolio of approximately 100 properties representing over 7,200 units and total invested equity of $650MM.
