I am developing my career as a Project Safety Advisor, bringing over 19 years of practical experience from the construction, offshore, and energy sectors. My transition into health and safety is supported by the NEBOSH National General Certificate and a range of industry safety qualifications that I have proactively self-funded to strengthen my professional development.My background as a Senior Scaffolding Supervisor and CISRS Advanced Scaffolder has provided extensive experience working in both onshore and offshore environments, including construction, commissioning, maintenance, and live production. I have worked across diverse sectors such as marine, civil infrastructure, petrochemical, renewables, and oil & gas, leading teams to deliver complex scopes of work safely and efficiently.Through these roles, I developed a strong practical understanding of workplace risk management, safe systems of work, and safety leadership. Managing teams in high-risk environments has allowed me to build the ability to identify hazards, implement effective controls, and promote a strong safety culture on site.I am now focused on applying this operational experience within a dedicated health and safety advisory role, supporting project teams, supervisors, and management to ensure safe, compliant, and productive operations. I bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with teams at all levels, influence positive safety behaviours, and support continuous improvement in health and safety performance.
