As Mission Area Executive (MAE), Mr. Geesaman partners with other members of the Executive Leadership Team at JHU/APL driving technical impact across the enterprise, managing relationships with key strategic sponsors and partners, and delivering game changing capabilities to our Nation\'s warfighters. He is responsible for the Precision Strike Mission Area (PSMA) strategy, advancing PSMA\'s strategic imperatives, working with line management to identify and apply technical talent and resources to critical challenges of strike warfare and air combat, building and mentoring diverse teams, and being a disruptive force for positive change, continuous improvement, and innovation. Mr. Geesaman directly oversees a number of senior-level staff and technical subject matter experts as their Group Supervisor. Mr. Geesaman is responsible for managing the existing portfolio of programs and continuing development of a robust portfolio of programs in US Strike Warfare and Air Combat platforms, systems, and capabilities. This portfolio consists primarily of programs supporting research and development efforts, operation analyses, prototyping, system acquisition, test and evaluation, and operational tactics development.
