Welcome to my profile! My name is Brian Garrido, I am a young professional currently working in a Supply Chain Analytics focused role at Best Buy\'s Corporate Headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’m excited to be part of a new, dynamic movement to introduce a data-centric approach to supply chain planning, and I hope to draw on my experiences in previous roles that have ranged from creating a forecast analytics model, to migrating old reporting infrastructure out of Excel and into Tableau.During my career, I’ve accrued experience doing demand forecasting and planning as part of a merchandising team, as well as in Marketing where I worked to optimize our paid search vehicle; I delivered two analytics projects that dealt with budget optimization and reporting. I have extensive experience using the Teradata SQL development warehouse/environment, as well as using Tableau developer to engineer new reporting frameworks. Additionally, I have been learning and applying the R programming language in my current role performing time series forecasting and creating visuals.
