He holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration (with distinction) from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Charleston, with academic honors in Pi Alpha Alpha, Omicron Delta Kappa, Pi Sigma Alpha, and Sigma Iota Rho. He earned top academic honors at the Northeast Georgia Police Academy and holds Georgia POST Supervisory, Managerial, Executive, Intermediate, and Advanced Certificates, along with certifications as a General Instructor, Radar/Lidar Operator, Agency Certification Manager, and Assessor.
