ABOUT BRIAN FAUGHT

Continued education, dedication and work ethic pulled me through the ranks from the production floor to the manager’s office.Out of high school, I was ready for a break from structured education but I couldn’t fight my desire to learn. Ultimately, I earned three degrees, five certifications and I am currently working on additional certifications.I have a talent for not only recognizing inefficiencies but identifying a solution. As a lead person I began my craft for continuous improvement. My ability to solve problems and positively interact with customers sent me on the road to pinpoint an array of technical issues and initiate quick onsite corrective actions.As a leader I was often charged with training new employees and current employees on new tasks. My capability to teach others extended to an international trip to train my counterparts in China. These skills have translated into a career long propensity to mentor at all opportunities. Teaching work skills or life skills is a rewarding talent I am fortunate to possess.I have been able to pursue my interest in legal research at various levels of management. As a research and development manager I successfully contributed to a patent infringement case. I have also played a key role providing technical assessments in liability suits.Although I have been in manufacturing for most of my career, I still maintain a strong interest in writing. Communication skills can often be achieved through creative writing. I have allowed those skills to transcend into the business rather it be writing a technical report or simply organizing a team to action. My writing skills were polished during my literary studies in college. I am most proud that a professor chose to use one of my papers as a model for future students to follow.Most recently I have managed an effective passing of the torch. I demonstrated the aptitude to facilitate the transition of a team of retiring managers to the current administrative staff.
