Brian leads the executive team and drives the overall strategy for Ellefson Transportation Group, Inc. Brian is responsible for leading the strategic direction and growth of all Ellefson Transportation Group companies which include ADSI Moving Systems, Acme Moving & Storage, A-1 Bestway, A Moving Services, Augusta Data Storage and Augusta Portable Storage. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical and Computer Sciences from Appalachian State University, Boone, NC. Following graduation Brian worked in the Banking Industry as a Systems Analyst. Joining his father in 1991, Brian’s focus was to grow and build the family business. In 1992 Augusta Data Storage was started as a means to diversify the family business. Brian was instrumental in the strategic direction and growth of ADS, which provides information management services, mobile and plant based document destruction, E-waste solutions and document conversion solutions. Today ADS manages over cartons and 1.8M files in storage. In January 2012 Augusta Data Storage obtained NARA certification as a Federal Records Storage Facility and is one of only 24 facilities in the country to have this certification.In 2006, Augusta Portable Storage, a franchisee for Go-Mini’s was created to provide portable moving and storage solutions. Today APS manages 110 mobile storage containers in sizes ranging from 12, 16 and 20 foot containers.Brian is active in community, civic and professional circles as well. He served as past President for the North Augusta High School Band Boosters, member of the Augusta Metro Chamber, Columbia County Chamber, The Association of the U.S. Army, American Moving and Storage Association, PRISM International, ARMA International, National Association for Information Destruction. Brian has served as past President of the Georgia Movers Association and is a current member of the Board of Directors and is the current Board Chair for Golden Harvest Food Bank. Brian is a current member of Fairview Presbyterian Church in North Augusta S.C.
