About Brian Czupek
Managing Director. Brian brings years of financial services expertise. He started as a Market maker on the Floor of the Chicago Board of Trade where he created markets in the soybean option pit. As technology innovation changed the floor trading experience in the late 1990s, Brian went on to attain his Series 7 and 66 in 2002. He then had two amazing experiences at Morgan Stanley and Charles Schwab where he was in the top quartile of his peers managing over $350M in client assets. In 2010 he successfully transitioned his career to the Investment Banking world. During this period he was part of a group that raised over $2B in late-stage VC deals including Bloom Energy, Fisker Automotive, Brightsource Energy as well as host of smaller tech deals in Silicon Valley. In 2013 he shifted his focus to the deal origination side working on lower middle market companies at Paulson Investment Company here in Chicago. In December 2014 he came back to the Capital markets group raising capital on late-stage Bio-deals.
