I’m a versatile member of the print production team, wearing several hats on a daily basis. I often rotate among these roles:• Senior editor – I frequently fill in as senior editor, where I’m in charge of slotting the print edition andmanaging a team of editors and paginators.• Assignment editor – as assignment editor I’m responsible for monitoring breaking news and managing evening shift reporters, while working on the copy desk on stories which are filed later in the day.• Production lead – as production lead, I work with the senior editor and monitor page and production flow. • Sports production – I also work as part of the production team on the daily Sports section.• A1 editor – as an A1 editor, I work with the masthead of the paper to craft every word on the front page.
