   Here at PureStar I am serving as a Director of Virtualization and End User Services. This position is a multidimensional leadership position covering technology, process, and service strategies for Virtualization and all End User Services supported by the PureStar Information Technology organization. This is a hybrid role having core responsibilities improving services offered through our outsourced IT Service Desk and NOC functions, supporting End User needs and experience with Desktop Services, and running day-to-day Management of our Core Infrastructure covering the Virtualized Server environment. As such, this role is responsible for providing expert level engineering support for the design and implementation of technical solutions as well as operational support within the company’s IT Infrastructure ecosystem. Day to day I utilize my previous experience working in office and industrial environments leading cross functional teams on best practices supporting laptops, desktops, servers, virtual hosts and machines, and related infrastructure components to ensure availability and security of the supported business applications. I serve in a senior level position that participates in both the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistency with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. This role requires the ability to demonstrate breadth of knowledge across multiple areas of information technology and as such, will be a key team member on strategic or enterprise-wide technology projects or issues.
