I proudly lead Moffitt Cancer Center’s research operations and strategy and the diversely talented teams that deliver innovation and elevate the quality of these services to faculty, staff, patients, families, and the community. As vice president of research administration, I have developed and facilitated strategic plans to foster paradigm, policy, and practice-changing science, and to maintain a prominent market presence as a top NCI-designated cancer center. I have accomplished significant results by directing improvements to the grant funding application process and implementing automation and technologies to produce favorable outcomes. One of my greatest assets as an executive leader is cultivating highly talented administration and operations teams consisting of passionate employees who embrace and achieve corporate goals. Leading the development of new ideas, deploying cutting-edge technology, and forming new strategic collaborations have delivered cost savings and higher-quality care to thousands of new and existing patients served by the top cancer centers with which I have worked throughout my career. I maintain a strong network of experts nationwide through active board involvement. In 2021, I was honored to be recognized as a 50 Hoops Legend for my contributions to this nonprofit organization.
