About Brian Brookey
I am a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Honigman, a Detroit-based firm of more than 350 outstanding lawyers. My practice is devoted to intellectual property litigation, and my cases cover the entire realm of I.P.(patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets). I have litigated intellectual property matters in courts throughout the United States, including the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. I also handle trademark oppositions and cancellations before the Patent and Trademark Office\'s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.As much as I love to litigate, it\'s also important for clients to develop strategies for avoiding litigation and baseless claims of infringement. I\'m always happy to conduct seminars and training programs for clients.A few years ago I expanded my practice area, and now frequently serve as a mediator for IP cases. I am happy to help parties resolve their disputes whenever and wherever they arise.
