Radiology at WHH are part of the Cheshire and Merseyside Radiology Imaging Network (CAMRIN). An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join the WHH PACS team. You must be enthusiastic, flexible and have the desire to continually improve the service we offer. You must be a keen problem solver with good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.This post in the PACS Team will focus on deployment, maintenance, administration and problem resolution of hardware and software across the department (all sites) to support the delivery of Radiology and Consortium projects and business as usual. Support calls are resolved via phone, email, video and site visits in response to service requests and IT incidents.This challenging and enjoyable role requires good planning and co-ordination skills along with flexibility to balance competing and often changing priorities in a busy workplace. It also needs good communication skills, a high level of IT problem solving ability, accomplished technical skills, good attention to detail and requires someone who can perform consistently in an often pressurised environment.The successful candidate needs to have strong customer service skills and a positive attitude to provide practical solutions that enable staff to keep working. They will work closely with the Service Desk, with department’s technical leads, clinical leads, consortium contacts and also with third party suppliers to ensure prompt incident resolution, fulfilment of service requests and deployment programmes.
