ABOUT BRIAN BAILLARGEON

As a VPG Product Design Engineer at Apple, I leverage my expertise in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) to provide design feedback and support for system-level Finite Element Analysis (FEA). With over 8 years of experience in this role, I have contributed to the development and validation of innovative products that enhance user experience and performance.Prior to joining Apple, I was a Technical Lead at Dassault Systèmes, where I led the technical efforts of the Living Heart Project, a high-fidelity multiphysics model of the human heart. This project united leading cardiovascular researchers, educators, medical device developers, regulatory agencies, and practicing cardiologists on a shared mission to develop and validate highly accurate personalized digital human heart models. I also have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a Master of Science degree from the University of Maine. My skills include Abaqus, FEA, and CAE.
