About Brian Askins
In February of 2014, after almost 24 years representing two Career/Captive carriers (one for 7 years, the other for nearly 17 years), I decided to go to the independent side of the industry and started Secure Insurance Group. There were many things I wanted to be able to offer every rep that desired to be independent, but the number one goal was to give the individual that desired to be independent the best situation possible. Having been an agent for nearly 25 and having a heart for agents, I built an agency that truly has the agent’s best interests at heart.
