Has completed RGP’s comprehensive ASC 606 Certification Program for Revenue Recognition.• Senior financial executive with significant technical accounting experience including revenue recognition. Experienced team leader for a variety of projects including M&A, process improvement, finance and accounting system implementations for start-up and fast growth entities, conversion from US GAAP to IFRS reporting, internal control evaluation and implementation, asset dispositions and IPOs. Responsibilities have included financial reporting (including SEC compliance), FP & A, operations, IT, human resources, treasury and legal.• In conjunction with accounting leadership roles, responsible for the appropriateness of revenue recognition and corresponding compliance with relevant accounting principles, including evaluation of Revenue Arrangements with Multiple Deliverables, Accounting for Performance of Construction-Type and Certain Production-Type Contracts, Principal Agent Considerations, and application of SEC Topic 13. This included evaluation of accounting policies for respective companies’ new revenue streams.• Implemented process procedures and controls and ensuring they were SOX compliant and subject to external audit. Such audits were free of material weaknesses findings in the three consecutive years such controls were subjected to audit.
