About Briana S.
I embody a customer centric mindset which I foster in my team and others. I began my retail career in 2011 with Pier 1 Imports as a part-time sales associate. As I grew with Pier 1 I was given multiple opportunities to lead store teams as an Interim Store Manager in two states including two high volume locations.From September 2019- June 2022 I was the Store Leader at Maurice’s in Gretna, Nebraska (Nebraska Crossing.) While in this role I led our district of 21 stores through a POS system change, participated in conference calls for a group of the highest volume stores, and completed the High Potential Store Leader program for Store Leaders who exceeded expectations, showed continued results and leadership abilities. From June ‘22 through November ‘22 I supported our district with Talent and Visual in a Full Time Assistant role with maurices. This entailed leading conference calls, training Store Leaders on retention, recruiting/interviewing, training their teams, visual execution for excellence and overall store operations. In December 2022 I began my role as an Area Asset Protection Manager at Gap Inc! As an APM for Nebraska and Iowa I cover 33 store locations, including all four brands (Gap, Old Navy, Athleta and Banana Republic). My responsibilities include leading through incident management, training and development, internal investigations and interviews, external theft case building and risk mitigation.
