I am a Software Engineer with 5 years+ experience in Software Engineering and Analysis in financial services & insurance industries. As a result of my previous roles, I have worked as part of a team on a number of multi-million dollar IT projects in a number of roles related to the analysis, design and implementation of IT based solutions. I am focused on delivering high quality solutions to real world customer problems that deliver value, and am a strong believer in the use of lean & iterative approaches to meet best meet this goal. I am interested in helping other teams adjust work patterns to work in this method or to join teams that share the same belief in how to build working software.My current goals are to develop into a technical leader who can work in a team to solve problems with software based solution. I have a keen interest in travel and am interested in working overseas to gain understandings in different cultures and methods of thinking, and am interesting in exposing myself to new ways of thinking in order to widen my approaches to solving problems.
